Who is Filmelab?
Being a partnership means lots of people are involved in the roots of Filmelab, but on the other end of the phone or email you’ll find Neil Fox and Justin Doherty, the day-to-day film education officers.
Having worked in film and education for 10 years, being film education officers is a good fit for Neil and Justin who manage Filmelab on behalf of a group of partners. Their work with Filmelab as well as their independent companies
Zero Balance and Filmstock has seen them develop and produce a range of films and projects. They include a successful international film festival, award-winning short films, documentaries and corporate productions, event development, delivery and management, award-winning education projects, theatre productions, live comedy sketch shows, film programming, DJ-ing, fifties rock 'n' roll bands, the creation of their own creative studio space and even the odd appearance in a feature film.
